Dear Jessica,
"You seem" like you are an amazingly talented author that I've had no problems falling in love with your books. From the Nova series to the Coincidence series, I can't seem to get enough of your beautiful emotionally intense stories. I want to recommend them to anyone and pretty much everyone that I come into contact with you. Thank you, for giving me such a wonderfully deliciously messed up and complicated book boyfriend like Quinton Carter to drool over. You've completely made my year!
New Years Resolutions for 2015

14 Days of Fictional Swooning: Favorite Bookish Boys + Giveaway
So, Meg @ Swoony Boys Podcast and Jaime @ Fiction Fare go together and came up with this awesome Valentine inspired Blog Hop! Guys, this is going to be so much fun, you totally don't want to miss out on this. For the next fourteen days there's going to be giveaway's, fun bookish related things, and a scavenger hunt going on. Yep, lots of goodness is going down!
Make sure you check out all of the blogs and visit them each day, because they're all going to have A LOT of fun and exciting things going on, plus they are going to each be hosting their own giveaway in conjunction with the main giveaway that's already being hosted as part of this EPIC blog hop full of bookish love and tons of fun.
What's up with the Scavenger Hunt?! This is the part that I think is probably the most fun thing going on during these fourteen days. Not only do you get to check out everyone's blog posts, but you also get to participate and potentially win a grand prize. The girl's from each blog are offering a tour wide giveaway that will consist of some pretty awesome things like a $20 Amazon gift card, a beautiful book related bracelet, and some super swanky Valentine's swag.
All you really have to do is visit each blog that's participating, collect and jot down the hidden words/phrases (these will be marked in a certain way that it'll be super duper for you to find them), and the most important thing of all: make sure that you enter the complete quote in the Rafflecopter at the end of the hop to earn extra entries. There were so many blogs that wanted to participate in this awesome tour these gals put together, so there will be two quotes. So, that's like double the chances that you have. GOOD LUCK!
I thought for this giveaway, I would have two winners and keep it open Internationally, so that everyone had a chance. And, what I'm giving away are two eCopies of Breaking Nova by the incredibly talented Jessica Sorensen, since I feel completely head over toes in love with Quinton Carter and I hope that you will too. He's an amazingly fucked up, complicated, and extremely intense guy who feels like he doesn't have the right to live and Nova is just as messed up and complicated as he is in her own way, but together these two are just simply irresistibly amazing. They just fall into one another so hard, that it's hard to for them not to let the guilt eat them up in their own separate ways.

Like, I even with this series, because it's so darn adorable and lots of fun to read, plus it's bright and all kinds of imaginative. I absolutely fell IN LOVE with the Alienated (check out my review for it on Goodreads), the first book in this series, and I recently read the little novella Until Midnight and got sucked back into that world. So naturally, I'm all grabby-hands flailing all over the freakin' place, itching to get my hands on a copy of Invaded now.
And it's like BOOM! She's freaking amazing enough to share an awesome little note with you guys! Check it out!

Hey, fiction lovers. I’m Melissa Landers, author of the Alienated series (YA sci-fi from Disney-Hyperion), and today I’m bouncing with excitement because THE SEQUEL IS FINALLY HERE!
It’s been a year since we left Aelyx and Cara onboard the intergalactic transport, and INVADED begins with an emotional goodbye as they part ways—Aelyx returning to Earth to salvage the alliance, and Cara continuing to L’eihr to serve out her part of the student exchange. While they’re apart, our star-crossed lovers will face assassination attempts, betrayal, crippling self-doubt, and a sadistic alien Phys Ed class. (Because there’s no escaping PE, even in another galaxy.) When Aelyx and Cara finally reunite…well, let’s just say it’s combustive. ;-)
What do reviewers think? I’m glad you asked!
“Readers will love the seamless blend of suspense, humor, and romance set against an interstellar landscape. Dual narratives and a tightly plotted mystery keep the suspense running high, and the chemistry between Aelyx and Cara smolders.” –Booklist
“Excellent character development and integration between modern reality and science fiction. Teens will be rooting for the galactic couple while enjoying the action and suspense that runs through the two volumes.” –School Library Journal
“The protagonists' forced separation gives greater depth to their romance. Each learns to turn a critical eye upon the flaws of their native societies while confronting genuine obstacles to a future together. These complications only underscore the growing sense of menace that propels the narrative to an action-packed climax.” –Kirkus
I hope you’ll make tracks to the nearest bookstore and pick up a copy of INVADED!
If you’re snowed in, here are some easy links to bring the sequel right to you!
Amazon * B&N * iBooks * Book Depository
To celebrate my book birthday, I’m offering one lucky winner a $25 gift card to Barnes & Noble and an autographed swag pack, complete with mini posters of BOTH books! This giveaway is open internationally, and due to sweepstakes laws, entrants must be 18 years or older to participate.

I am excited to be sharing Unremembered Things the first book in the Wood Nymph Chronicles #1 by Rachel Tsoumbakos with you today. When she first contacted me asking if I would be interested in participating in a book blitz featuring a giveaway for this book, I wasn't sure if I would be able to until I took a minute to read through the synopsis and I got a little excited. I realize this book looks like it's going to be like any other urban fantasy paranormal romance written, but I feel like there's a little something special about this book and those of you who are fans of these types of novels would really like this. So, I wanted to share it with you guys, because it's definitely piqued my interest.

Excerpt
“It is time.” Her voice purred like a kitten, but Indiana suspected she was really a feral animal on the inside.“For what?” Her voice was raspy, hesitant and unsure if she really wanted to know the answer. Somewhere, deep inside, she suspected she already knew.“Just remember I’m doing this for us,” Sam whispered into her ear. “So we can be together forever.”Before Indiana could question him further, she felt a flurry of hands over her body. Indiana tried to open her eyes, but a warm hand reached up and carefully covered them.Indiana was bitten – hard, and she groaned in pleasure. Shocked by her unexpected display, she clutched her hands outwards. Feeling the writhe of skin on skin, she tried to pull herself free. The tickle of fingers across her neck and down her spine calmed her with their warm familiarity.“It’s okay, Indiana.”The feathery words danced across her skin, warm like a summer breeze. She stilled and let Sam’s fingers intertwine with her own, relieved by his simple touch.Time seemed to move forward and Indiana was presented with brief snippets of fleeting images; Camilla biting Sam, biting her. Indiana enjoying the pain of Camilla’s sharp teeth as they gnashed at her neck, her thighs and her wrist. The flurry of skin and hands and teeth as they writhed together in the height of passion. Pale hands slithered over her own luminescent skin, then Sam’s darker skin brushed against her own, warming her and protecting her but against what she was unsure. Then Camilla poised over Sam, a knife in her hand. A flash of blood as it splayed out from a gaping neck wound. Indiana’s involuntary gasp and then choking sob at the sight of the cavernous hole. Hungry sucking as Camilla drank her fill. A warm hand, its fingers still laced through hers, slowing turning ice cold.

For the Month of January 2015
In the month of January, I feel like I've gotten a bit more organized on the blog, did some cleaning up, and was able to set a pretty good pace for myself where my reading goals are concerned. During the first week, I averaged reading about 2 and a half books, managing to get two reviews written and posted, as well as making sure I had at least 4+ posts scheduled in advance at all times. I decided that I was going to start my new year off with getting things ready, a little more organized, and set-up to where it would be easy for me to meet the goals that I've set for myself. I posted them here, if you'd like to take a look at them. If you have any tips on helping to keep myself organized, as far as keeping track of my TBR and review piles or any other tips in general that might help out, link me to them or let me know in the comments below. I always welcome any advice from a fellow blogger.
And the big wow for me, is that I actually managed to read 16 books this month. Well, actually, if you break it down I read a total of 9 actual books and 6 novellas. This ended up putting me 9 books ahead of schedule on my Goodreads Challenge for this year. So I'm pretty much all...
You can also find me on the new social media platform, Tsu as @suzinbooks. If you're on there too, just friend me and send me a request and I'll be happy to add you to my list!
