Happy Follow and Feature, everyone! The long and short of it, life is crazy and reading is my life, basically. Go visit Parajunkee's View or Allison Can Read, to get the details on how to follow and have fun with everyone else. It's all about meeting new people, finding new blogs to follow, and basically just having a lot of fun. This week the two awesome features are Alurring Reads and Justin's Book BlogThese two bloggers are just as awesomesauce as their blogs, so definitely show them some love! :D It depends on how what my blogging schedule is like. What I mean by that is, if I have a ton of review books or ARC's to get through, then sometimes I will read more than one book. At the moment, I have a book on my Kindle that I'm reading, and I'm reading a physical ARC of The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa, not to mention the audiobook that I've been listening to while I'm running errands and things like that.
I've noticed that my reading habits have sort of changed a little bit and modified themselves, since I've been blogging. Sometimes this is a good thing, but other times I wish I could just go back to reading one book at a time so I don't feel so much pressure to power through all of the ARC's/books I receive for review. I love receiving them and being able to create as much buzz for them and author's as much as possible, but other times it feels like it's taking away from other books that I've purchased from my own reading pleasure that are just gathering dust on my bookshelves. I think I need to figure out the right balance between reading and review ARC's and books for review, as well as reading for pleasure.

I'm finding that with blogging my reading habits have changed. I've been trying to read faster (although not very well) but one thing I can't do is read more than 1 book at a time. Its just impossible for me!

Old follower now also following through networked blogs, I had the same problem with review books/arcs so what I do now is in between each review book I read a book off my bookshelf that I brought myself that way I don't feel that all I'm reading are books for review, my FF

ReplyDeleteI'm starting to realize that I'm going to have the same problem. I just started getting ARC's because my blog is fairly new, and I sort of got swamped with them from Net Galley! If you find a schedule that works, let me know! haha.
Pretty blog btw!
