It was a late Friday night and I had just gotten off work and decided to pop into the local bookstore on my way home. I had just gotten paid that week and I wanted a couple of new books. I spotted this one sitting on a YA table in a center aisle and picked it up, because I thought it looked interesting. I had seen the movie and wanted to read the book. I also ended up buying a copy of Nightshade by Andrea Cremer with the original prettier cover.
