Once Upon A Series

I have way too many series that I've started, but haven't finished for whatever reason and this is a list of those I plan to finish this year.

Lies We Tell Ourselves by Robin Talley

Lies We Tell Ourselves is an eye-opening, heartbreaking, and beautifully written novel that will leave an everlasting impression on you.

Write-On Review-a-Thon

The Write On review-a-thon is a monthly event created and hosted by Brianna at The Book Vixen. It’s 2 days dedicated to getting reviews done, whether you have one review to write or 30+. This edition of the review-a-thon takes place all day Saturday, July 26th and Sunday, July 27th. Let’s get those reviews done!
The details...

There are a few more details about this awesome review-a-thon that you need to know about, like the reviews can be in any format (written/video), you're not just limited to reviews on books either (reviews on cool gadgets, movies, etc. are welcome) too. All you need to do to participate is just create a post with the list of the reviews that you are in need of completing, nab up the official blurb and button above, and then fill out the sign-up form. If you don't have an actual blog, you can post on Facebook using this blurb and the button, or you can post to Twitter with a link back to the sign up post. It's as simple as that, ya'll. For more info on the details visit the sign up post

Update on Reviews Written & Completed for Review-a-Thon
Updated July 28, 2014

I think I over-shot a little bit, with the amount of reviews that I felt I could get written within two days. Usually, I can get at least three good ones finished, but for some reason I wasn't able to this time. I think I was just a little physically and mentally exhausted, because a lot of things have been happening within the last two weeks. It just felt really crazy, ya know. Anyway, I was able to get finished reviews written and posted to Goodreads for, Sublime by Christina Lauren and Blue Sky Days by Marie Landry. I even started writing a review for Exquisite Captive by Heather Demetrios, which I will be finishing within the next couple of days. along with the reviews for I'll Give You the Sun and The Sound of Letting Go

Even though I was only able to get two reviews completed and one half-way written, I still feel like I was pretty productive, given the way I felt. So, I'll definitely be participating again, because I think this is a really good way to get some reviews written to get caught up as well. I'll definitely be scheduling Sublime and Blue Sky Days on the blog, you'll be seeing the there. I'll also be cross-posting them to Amazon, Barnes&Noble as well.

So, get ready for August 30-31st!
