This week the two awesome features are Mercurial Musings and Owl Tell You All About ItThese two girls are just as awesomesauce as their blogs, so definitely show them some love! :D Magnus looked amused. "I was surprised when I got Sebastian's message this morning," he said. "Saying he was doing you a favor, no less. How did you wind up meeting him?"Happy Follow and Feature, everyone! The long and short of it, life is crazy and reading is my life, basically. Go visit Parajunkee's View or Allison Can Read, to get the details on how to follow and have fun with everyone else. It's all about meeting new people, finding new blogs to follow, and basically just having a lot of fun.
I don't usually like to see books adapted to film or become a television show. But, if I had to choose a series or book to be made into a movie, it would have to be Wither by Lauren deStefano. It would be amazing to see the dark gothic twisted carnivals, filled with their girls in glitter, and rusty merry-go-rounds. Plus, the gritty storyline, the danger, and seeing Rhine and Gabriel breaking out of the mansion and then being on the run always having to look over their shoulders and make life altering decisions, would be epic.
Clemence Poesy is the only uniquely beautiful and gifted actress, that I can honestly see taking on the role of Rhine Ellery. She has such a strange alluring beauty all her own, that I can see her pulling off overwhelming emotions such as fear, lonliness, and total despair.
She is such a wonderfully gifted and talented actress, that I were going to cast anyone in a movie of these novels, it would definitely be her. I just simply haven't found anyone quite as intriguing enough, unless it would be Amanda Seyfried, who is equally as stunning and beautiful.
I would definitely love to see Cassandra Clare's The Mortal Instrument series turned into a movie. It's such an interesting other-world, downworld full of intriguing character's, dangerous peril, and shiny magic. Emphasis on the "shiny". I'm not exactly sure who I would cast as Clary, she's a bit of a hard one for me. Because, all of the younger actresses that I've looked at so far, have been well...a little too young and fresh faced. Plus, I don't want to go over a certain age limit, because I want her to appear the ass-kicking awesomely fierce character that she is.
But, I do know who I would cast as the super shiny amazing Magnus Bane. There is only one person who I've always had in mind, who could ever really do this truly fantastic character justice...Adam Lambert. Oh, yes! My boy. Or well...both of "my boys" kind of melted into one. Tell me you can see this. You know you can, right?! lol. Gah! They're both so pretty.
"He's a cousin of some friends of the Lightwoods or something. He's nice, I promise."
"Nice, bah. He's gorgeous." Magnus gazed dreamily in his direction. "You should leave him here. I could hang hats on him and things."
"No. You can't have him."
"Why not? Do you like him?" Magnus's eyes gleamed. "He seems to like you. I saw him going for your hand out there like a squirrel diving for a peanut."
