Two hearts, one life-changing summer, and a long-awaited second chance...

When Quinnlan Reynolds left home at 18, she escaped her small, Georgia town and her suffocating upbringing. She started a new life as a ballerina, and tasted freedom for the first time. But four years later, her first visit home turns tragic. Reeling, Quinn tries to piece her life back together again. But doing so is easier said than done when sexy Jonah Walker saunters back into her life.

Quinn shattered Jonah’s heart once, so getting involved with her isn’t something he’s sure he’s ready to do again. He became someone he didn’t recognize when he left home. He’s spent the last years burying his pain by keeping everyone in his life at arm’s length. Now he needs to get to know his family again, and finally become who he wants to be.

But neither Quinn or Jonah can stay away from each other, especially when old feelings resurface. Something is pulling them back together, and they can’t deny their chemistry for long. One Georgia summer could change both their lives forever, if they can work through their past to have a future together.

Quinn Reynolds is learning all over again how to really live her life. After spending too many years denying herself happiness, too long of holding back out of fear, she's finally letting everything go now. It's as terrifying as it is freeing, but with Jonah, her friends, and her newfound inner strength, Quinn wants to move away from the past entirely.

Giving in to her passion for life, for dancing, and for Jonah will test her courage and make her feel finally alive.

There are no secrets between them now, but they both have to grow in order to turn their love from a happily-for-now into a happily-ever-after.

She needs a fill-in boyfriend. He needs a favor. It’s the perfect, no-strings arrangement until they both realize it’s too real…

Sophie-Claire Wright’s life is like a bad country song on repeat. She keeps running into her cheating ex, her songwriting career isn't taking off, and her roommate just kicked her out of their apartment. With nothing to lose, she decides to do the one thing she said she’d never do: she moves back home. She left her small Southern town with big dreams, but now she’s going home with empty pockets.

Life moves at a slower pace in Sophie’s blink-and-you’ll-miss-it hometown, but her well-meaning, matchmaking mama doesn't have a slow gear. Sophie invents a boyfriend to hold off her mother’s efforts, but she’s out of luck when her mom wants to meet him. Sophie panics until she runs into Jake Cooper. Her high school crush (and former best friend) is back in town, too, and when he asks her for a favor, she agrees...on one condition. He says he’ll be her fill-in boyfriend, so it should be simple: re-introduce him to her family and then “break up” with him after a few weeks.

Sophie is sure she’ll be able to resist Jake this time. Sure, she was in love with him years ago, but that was then. This is now, no matter how great he looks, or how she feels around him. But she didn't bargain for moments that feel all too genuine. Dates that don’t seem fake. Kisses that leave her shaken and wanting more. Sweet moments where she forgets they aren't really dating. And she didn't count on old feelings resurfacing and complicating their arrangement—which is starting to feel less like acting and more like the real deal.

Soon, Sophie can’t tell which kisses are real or fake, but she knows she’s in deep...and she thinks Jake is, too. When she gets a chance to go back to Nashville and chase her dreams again, she has a choice to make: stay or go? Continue hoping that the life she wants is one song away, or finally write her own song?

Without warning, the Ferris Wheel’s smooth motion jerked to a stop. Several people yelled out good-natured protests, while Quinn squirmed in her seat. Way down on the ground, the people in charge of the ride were already swarming, working on getting it going again.

“Well.” Jonah turned to Quinn, a mischievous expression looking all too at home on his features. “What do we do now?”

She shrugged, daring a glance over the side of their Ferris Wheel car. The people below them were milling around, children holding their parent’s hands, carnies trying their best to convince folks to part with their hard-earned money. From up here though, everyone looked smaller. “Um, we hope this thing gets moving again soon.”

“Nope.” He chuckled, the sound flowing warmly between them. “I have other ideas.”

Switching her attention to him, Quinn blinked. “Oh no. I don’t think so.” She pressed her hand lightly against his chest to keep him from coming any closer.

Ignoring her gesture, he entwined her fingers with his. “I do think so, Princess.” He tightened his grasp on her hand, and scooted closer to her, rocking their car with his movement. “We’re trapped way up here together, and we might as well make the most of it.”

Quinn snorted, shaking her head. "Only you would try to put the moves on a girl while we're stuck on a fair ride."

"What can I say? I'm an opportunistic person." His green eyes danced. “And I’m only interested in putting the moves on one girl.”

Tilting her head back, she tried to keep a straight face while she gazed at the stars. She couldn't fault Jonah for trying. He knew she wasn't crazy about being trapped like this, and he wanted to take her mind off of things. And why not? She was so used to getting stuck in her head in moments like this, closing herself off to life. Maybe like her therapist kept saying, it was time she decided to live in the moment. To be here. Now.

*Be here. Now.* With the mantra in mind, Quinn turned her attention to the present. To the strong arms wrapped around her. To the scent of Jonah’s cologne, and the feel of his flannel shirt in her fingers. To the stars and the cool breeze and the sounds of laughter from below them.

“Hey Jonah…” She drawled, grinning. “You know what 22 year olds aren’t too old for?”

“What?” His eyes crinkled at the corners as he gave her an answering smile.

“Making out on a Ferris wheel. Come here, you."

"I thought you'd never ask," he said, before covering her mouth with his.

Wishful Wednesday's featuring One Song Away by Molli Moran

Today, I'm really super excited because I get to talk about two things that I love - reading and one of my favorite Indie author's, the fabulously talented Molli Moran. You might recognize her from her previous debut New Adult novel, As You Turn Away (The Walker Boys #1), which is a swoon-worthy southern romance filled with epic amounts of charm and appeal. This Fall she's revisiting that world with a novella, As We Fall Together (The Walker Boys #1.5), that will kind of be the continuation of Jonah and Quinn. Earlier this year, she left them in a place where they would be alright, a place in their hearts where they could breathe again - could find love in one another despite their many flaws or faults. This time, we'll get to see them grow closer together, learn how to work through their problems, and grow as individuals. I have no doubt it's going to be one of the most beautiful journey's ever, but then again I never doubted Molli's ability to tell a beautiful story.

At this point, I think it's safe to say that she's cornered the market on New Adult contemporary southern romance. Next month, she's releasing her sophomore novel entitled One Song Away, beautifully written, stunningly poignant and enchanting. I was one of the lucky few who was given the chance to beta read it before anyone else got the chance to read and review it. If you would like to see my review for it, you can click through to Goodreads. I am so excited to be sharing this book with you, because it's one that I'm definitely anticipating. So, if you love New Adult contemporary romance novels with southern flare, swoon-worthy handsome men, epic friendships that last a lifetime, and so much then this is the novel for you. It's dropping December 1, 2014 and you can pre-order it just in time to read it for Christmas or you know, give as a gift to someone else you think may like it.

There are four different prize packs and they range from YA+ to New Adult and they're all pretty amazing books from what I can tell. I feel like we should try and support our Indie Author's a little bit more and show them just as much love, as we show our really well established author's who've been picked up by the major publishing houses. Sometimes, if you look long enough and put a little more effort into digging, you just might find a diamond in the rough that's in the form of some of these amazing authors.

Wishful Wednesday featuring One Song Away by Molli Moran

Wishful Wednesday was inspired by Waiting on Wednesday and Desperately Wanting Wednesday by Breaking the Spine and Parajunkee.

Wishful Wednesday is my own little version of "Waiting On Wednesday". Every two weeks or so, I'll pick a topic or genre and list a few upcoming books (or book) that I'm anticipating the release for. This week, that book is going to be One Song Away by the amazingly talented and wonderful Molli Moran. I will read ANYTHING that she writes! Molli has this wonderful ability to write stories and characters that will tug at your heart strings and make you swoon with crazy feels. She is definitely on my auto-buy list, for sure! So, stay tuned into the blog, because there will be a review for another title by her (As You Turn Away (The Walker Boys #1) which is her debut NA southern romance novel that she released earlier this year. If you haven't had the chance to snag your own copy of it yet and read, then head on over to your closest AmazonB&N, or even Molli's Website where you can order it and request a signed copy of it.

Sophie-Claire Wright's life is going downhill at warp speed. Her songwriting career isn't taking off like she hoped, she keeps running into her cheating ex, and her roommate just kicked her out of their apartment. Running out of options -- and money -- Sophie does the one thing she vowed she'd never do: she moves home. Home where instead of being a free spirit, she's still thought of as a rebel.

Life moves at a slower pace in Sophie's blink-and-you'll-miss-it hometown, but her well-meaning, matchmaking mother doesn't have a slow gear. Sophie invents a boyfriend to hold off an endless stream of bachelors, but she's out of luck when her mom demands to meet Sophie's non-existent boyfriend. Luckily for Sophie, Jake Cooper owes her a favor. Jake -- who stole her heart a long time ago, and is as charming and dangerous as ever.

Sophie is sure she'll be able to resist Jake this time (and his smile, and his abs, and his...everything,) and that their fake relationship will keep them both away from wagging tongues. Just because she was half in love with him years ago doesn't mean she'll fall for him now... But she didn't bargain for moments that feel all too real. And she didn't count on mutual old feelings resurfacing and complicating their arrangement -- which is starting to feel less like acting and more like the real deal.
