Third Sentence Thursday is a nifty little weekly meme hosted by Sniffly Kitty's Mostly Books.
1) Take the book you are reading now and post the third sentence
2) Review this sentence anyway you want (funny and silly reviews encouraged)
3) Post a link to your sentence here or if you don't have a blog, just post it in the comments!
"It's the first day of senior year, and as far as I can tell, I'm exactly the same as I was last year." ; Carrie Diaries
Thing about this book that I really like so far, is that it's so relatable and easy to read. You don't have to concentrate that much and it's pretty much your typical teenager's being teenager's type of thing. And the important thing, is that it's very Carrie.
Be careful, though, not to try and compare the Carrie in the book to the Carrie on the show itself, because these books are meant for the more mature young adult's and they're also a prequel introducing us to Carrie BEFORE the show. You know, what her life was like while she was a typical teenager growing up.
