In My Mailbox or IMM is hosted by the lovely Kristi over at The Story Siren (best blog in the world, seriously!) where you talk about the awesomely cool books that you received in the mail, via the stacks of your local library, recent purchases, etc.
This week, I'm actually on time. Woo Hoo! I got some pretty awesome books this week for review and I've been dying to read them all. (I didn't buy a book this week, wow! That's like a first.) But, I did receive an ARC of Fateful by Claudia Gray, which I'm really excited about it. It's not mentioned in the V-LOG below, because it came on Saturday afternoon and I had already made this week's IMM V-LOG. I still really, really wanted to show my excitement for it anyway, so I included it down below.
The links all take you to Goodreads, where you can find more out about the books. I've already read Deadly Cool and I'll be starting Frost sometime today, hopefully. And a review for Deadly Cool, Shut Out, and Putting Makeup On Dead People will be coming next Wednesday, so be looking for that on the blog. I've decided that I'm going to be making Monday and Wednesday's my designated days to post reviews for the books that I've read, so hopefully there will be some structure coming to this blog soonish. The only exception will be The Lantern by Deborah Lawrenson, which will be posted on Tuesday as part of a book tour for TLC Book Tours.
So, right. Let's get to it, okay! :)
Don't Breathe A Word by Holly Cupala (ARC for Review thanks to HarperTeen!)
Deadly Cool by Gemma Halliday (ARC for Review thanks to HarperTeen!)
Carrier Of The Mark by Leigh Fallon (ARC for Review thanks to HarperTeen!)
Frost by Marianna Baer (ARC for Review thanks toHarperTeen!)
Dearly, Departed by Lia Habel (ARC for Review thanks to Del Rey an imprint of Random House!)
Half-Blood by Jennifer L. Armentrout (ARC for Review thanks to Spencer Hill Press!)
Immortal: Love Stories With A Bite by P.C. Cast & Others (Thanks Denison Public Library!)
Fateful by Claudia Gray (* Not shown in video, but: ARC for Review thanks toHarperTeen!)
And I got an E-Copy of Flame of Surrender: The Ferrymen and the Flame #1 by Rhiannon Paille. I will be reading and reviewing this on the blog, closer to November. Most likely it'll be sometime in October, so be looking out for that. I'll also be featuring this book in a cover reveal on Monday and then spotlighting again in a Waiting On Wednesday post, later this week too. I'm very excited to have the chance to read this, because the world building, character's, and the mythology already has me drawn in and entranced. I know that it's going to be an amazingly awesome magical fantasy world that I cannot wait to dive into.
Those who are mentioned in the credits of this V-LOG, so make sure you check them out! Also, those who are mentioned above, in the list of books that I received for the week. I'm sending a BIG HUGE THANK YOU your way, seriously!
See ya 'round next week, hopefully on time!
