Nobody's Goddess
In a village of masked men, each loves only one woman and must follow the commands of his “goddess” without question. A woman may reject the only man who will love her if she pleases, but she will be alone forever. And a man must stay masked until his goddess returns his love—and if she can’t or won’t, he remains masked forever.

Where the rest of her village celebrates this mystery that binds men and women together, seventeen year old Noll is just done with it. She’s lost all her childhood friends as they’ve paired off, but the worst blow was when her closest companion, Jurij, finds his goddess in Noll’s own sister. Desperate to find a way to break this ancient spell, Noll instead discovers why no man has ever loved her: she is in fact the goddess of the mysterious lord of the village, a Byronic man who refuses to let Noll have her right as a woman to spurn him and who has the power to fight the curse. Thus begins a dangerous game between the two: the choice of woman versus the magic of man. And the stakes are no less than freedom and happiness, life and death—and neither Noll nor the veiled man is willing to lose.

Love is honey sweet, but it comes with a fatal sting . . .

Melaina Maris needs wings to fly the gap between loving Sam and her family’s ancient curse that forces carnal love and then kills the male lovers. She won’t let the same fate that killed her father befall another. She refuses to allow her goddess-created bloodline to continue. But there’s no easy way out, especially after the curse turns her into the Honey Queen—savior to honey bees—intensifying her charms.

To help her fulfill the curse’s demands in the least harmful way, her grandmother takes her to mate with terminally ill Boyd. But Boyd’s gay. And an expert in mythology. Instead of having sex, Melaina learns how she might summon the goddess who created the first ancestor bee-charmer and cursed her bloodline. Melaina's magic—tears to save honey bees from endangerment—could be enough to persuade the goddess to end the curse. But an unexpected discovery soon changes that hope, spinning Melaina into a swarm of love, friendship and death.

Book Review: Stopping Time & Old Habits by Melissa Marr

Stopping Time & Old Habits (Novella) by Melissa Marr
    Published: February 22, 2011
    Publisher: HarperCollins
    Age Demographic: YA Paranormal Fantasy
    Pages: 124

With "Old Habits," Melissa Marr returns to the ravishing world of Faerie with a story set between her bestselling novels Ink Exchange and Fragile Eternity. Recently anointed king of the Dark Court, Niall struggles to forge a new relationship with his subjects—and with the former Dark King, Irial, his once-friend, once-enemy, and now possible-advisor.

"Stopping Time" is an exciting e-story original sequel to the bestselling Ink Exchange. Leslie walked away from the Dark Court, determined to reclaim her life and live it on her own terms—even if it meant leaving behind the two faeries who love her. She knows Niall and Irial watch over her, and she would give almost anything to keep them from hurting. But she resists the pull to be with either one of them. Someone knows about Leslie's past, however, and is intent on using her to reach the fey. And he doesn't care who gets hurt….

Stopping Time is a dark and hauntingly beautiful glimpse at what happens shortly after Ink Exchange leaves off. Melissa Marr never fails to disappoint, when it comes to bringing the stories that she tells to life with captivating attention to detail and dark beguiling imagery that has a way of drawing readers in and capturing their attention. It was wonderful to see Irial, Nial, and Leslie together again even if only from a distance in some instances. Stopping Time was so much more than just the title of this novella. It was bigger and more infinite, somehow, the fact that you could possibly stop time as it is and make the world stand still, for just one brief moment and then all goes back to normal the next day. It was...beautiful...in a word. I honestly don't think anyone else could have possibly pulled off the stunning emotion and depth that Marr has done, in this brilliant shining novella. If you enjoy wickedly delicious and dark haunting fantasy, I would definitely recommend the Wicked Lovely series to you. There's just something about it, that has this way of reaching out and pulling you into the world. You will for sure be left in awe!

The insights that Marr gives into the beloved characters, Irial and Nial in Old Habits, is wonderfully rich and delicious to read about. It was intriguing to see them having to deal with the complicated mess of their relationship, their feelings for Leslie and being tasked with having to respect her wishes to live a normal life away from the courts or anything fae, and the power struggle in general between these two, when it comes to the Dark Courts. Melissa Marr weaves a long and intricate past between these two, that gives new introspect into who they are on their own and both together. There is such a brilliant dynamic to the way that she sets up the dark mythical world she creates and the depth that she gives her often complicated and deeply complex characters. It is incredibly too easy to become addicted to this stunning and captivating series, Wicked Lovely. You'll have to read it for yourself, if you'd like to find out what I mean.

Book Review: The Sweetest Dark by Shana Abe

The Sweetest Dark by Shana Abe
    Expected Publication: April 9, 2013
    Publisher: Bantam
    Age Demographic: YA Paranormal Fantasy
    Pages: 352

“With every fiber of my being, I yearned to be normal. To glide through my days at Iverson without incident. But I’d have to face the fact that my life was about to unfold in a very, very different way than I’d ever envisioned. Normal would become forever out of reach.”

Lora Jones has always known that she’s different. On the outside, she appears to be an ordinary sixteen-year-old girl. Yet Lora’s been keeping a heartful of secrets: She hears songs that no one else can hear, dreams vividly of smoke and flight, and lives with a mysterious voice inside her that insists she’s far more than what she seems.

England, 1915. Raised in an orphanage in a rough corner of London, Lora quickly learns to hide her unique abilities and avoid attention. Then, much to her surprise, she is selected as the new charity student at Iverson, an elite boarding school on England’s southern coast. Iverson’s eerie, gothic castle is like nothing Lora has ever seen. And the two boys she meets there will open her eyes and forever change her destiny.

Jesse is the school’s groundskeeper—a beautiful boy who recognizes Lora for who and what she truly is. Armand is a darkly handsome and arrogant aristocrat who harbors a few closely guarded secrets of his own. Both hold the answers to her past. One is the key to her future. And both will aim to win her heart. As danger descends upon Iverson, Lora must harness the powers she’s only just begun to understand, or else lose everything she dearly loves.

Filled with lush atmosphere, thrilling romance, and ancient magic, The Sweetest Dark brilliantly captures a rich historical era while unfolding an enchanting love story that defies time.

The Sweetest Dark is a beautifully written suspenseful post-Victorian love story that will leave readers breathless. Shana Abe pens an extraordinary thrilling, exciting adventure filled drama, with brilliant flourishes of magic blended seemlessly throughout the tale. The atmosphere is lush, vibrant, and alive with rich historical vibes coming through. The story told, will pull readers in and captivate them with the gorgeous imagery, beguiling prose, and wonderful drama. This isn't your stereotypical paranormal romance set in motion.

It is wonderous and lush, alive with vivid detail, and crackling with beautiful intensity and vulnerability. The story Shana Abe so wonderfully crafts, is one that will sweep readers off of their feet. It's almost genius, her uncanny ability to tell such a beguiling story so grand and gorgeous, that readers get lost in the world the author has created. It's different, incredibly amazing, and something unlike any other classic paranormal novel, that I've ever read. It's incredibly easy to fall in love with this mystically enchanting dark and bleak world that Abe has created.

Lora is a bit hardened and distant, filled with incredible biting snark and trust issues due to having endured such an awful past. She's such a fantasticlly complicated and complex character, who is extremely fragile beneath her tough exterior. The quiet strength she exudes from beginning to end, is definitely one of the more adirmirable characteristics and traits that I loved about her. The boys are just as wonderfully developed and intriguing as Lora.

The Sweetest Dark is wonderously rich, dark, enchanting love story that will leave readers hearts aching in the aftermath. Written much in a style reminicent of Grimm fairytales, it is filled with gorgeous beguiling essence that will resonate with readers in a truly emotional fashion leaving them pining and gasping for more. It's definitely a must read of the year!

Shana Abé was born in Texas. She spent much of her childhood living in Colorado, with a brief stint in Mexico as a foreign exchange student, and, at age seventeen, lived in Japan as a model. Throughout her childhood, Abé wrote, completing what she calls "The Silliest Romance Novel Ever" during her free time during modeling shoots. Her writing focused on romance, as those were the types of books that she most enjoyed reading.[1] She later attended college in Los Angeles, graduating with a degree in drama.

Her second novel, also a contemporary romance, took third place in a writing contest. She sent the book to several prospective agents, many of which responded with questions similar to "Nice voice — but what line are you writing for?" Unwilling to try to fit her writing into some of the rules that governed contemporary romances, Abé chose to concentrate on historical romances. For her first attempt at a historical romance, the newlywed Abé chose to tell the story of her own romance with her husband, set in medieval times. The manuscript was purchased by Bantam Books and published as A Rose in Winter.

Many of Abé's subsequent novels have also been set in the medieval time period. Abé chose the time period because of its "great sense of dichotomy....It inspires thoughts of grandeur, of courtly grace and chivalrous knights — but at the same time there's a gritty, raw aspect to the period that just cannot be denied."

Abé has received the Romantic Times Career Achievement Award, and has been nominated six times for Romantic Times Reviewer's Choice Awards, winning twice.

Katriona Wilde has never wondered what it would feel like to have everything she's ever known and loved ripped away, but she is about to find out. When she inadvertently leads her sister and best friend through a portal into a world she's dreamed of for six years, she finds herself faced with more than just the frightening creatures in front of her. Kate's forced to accept a new truth: her entire life has been a lie, and those closest to her have betrayed her. Wilde's Fire is a truly phenomenal young adult fantasy, that is filled with wonderful suspense and intrigue. Krystal Wade's attention to beautiful detail, brings this story to life in so many unexpected wonderfully brilliant ways. The concept of this story, is both refreshing and unique, which readers will find compelling and interesting. The world was dark, scary, and enchanting all at the same time. There was amazing character development and rich subtle complexities hidden beneath this gem of fantasy.

Wilde's Fire takes off like a lightening rod. It's fast paced, beautifully written, and mystically stunning. Kate is an incredibly strong and resilient heroine, who is definitely worthy of fullfilling her part in the prophecy. Albiet a little skeptical when it comes to magic understandably so, she's written in such a way that it's easy to connect with her emotionally and find her extremely likable. She accepts the truth about herself and ponies up to take on the task ahead of her, which is such a refreshing quality about her. It's also an element that you don't see very often in young adult fiction.

The love story was beautifully written and breath taking. It was nice to see that Kate didn't just fall into her love interest's arms. She instead waits, until she has gotten to know him and then slowly realizes that she's fallen in love with him, another refreshing aspect of this wonderfully amazing novel. Arland, Kate's love interest, is amazingly sweet, handsome, and definitely charming in many ways. Kate's dreamed of him for so long, so when they meet their electric chemistry is completely off the charts epic. Sparks begin to fly and they begin to fall in head over feet in love with one another. Their relationship grows and deepens in the most realisticlly and organic way that I've probably ever read in a young adult novel. It's simply gorgeous to witness.

This book is probably one of the most gripping and wonderfully written books that I've read in a while. I don't normally read a whole lot of fantasy on a regular basis, but I would definitely pick up this book again and devour it in a heartbeat. It has some truly fantastic characters and an even more interesting world readers can definitely immerse themselves in. I would recommend this book to anyone who has enjoyed Joy Preble's Dreaming Anastasia series. You will not want to miss out on this series for sure!

Witch Born Blog Tour with Chapter Two Excerpt & Giveaway by Amber Argyle

    Photobucket

Today, I'm pretty lucky to be part of the five chapter sneek preview for Witch Born that Amber Argyle organized and put together. You guys, this series is so amazingly original and edgey. Witch Song was one of my favorite ARC's that I was lucky enough to get to read and review last year. I have no doubts that Witch Born is going to be just as amazing.

And today, for you lucky reader's, I have a super awesome sneek peek at Chapter Two of Witch Born for you! How awesome is that?!

But, first I'll share with you a little insight into the series.

There is so much to love about this series as Amber brilliantly blends dark mythology, witchcraft, romance, and magic into an enticing adventure that is sure to wow and captivate any fan of paranormal fantasy. It really is a strinkingly beautiful original story, with stunning imagery and sweeping emotion.

In WITCH SONG, the world is changing. Once, Witch Song controlled everything from the winds to the shifting of the seasons-but not anymore. All the Witches are gone, taken captive by a traitor. All but Brusenna. As the echo of their songs fade, the traitor grows stronger. Now she is coming for Brusenna. Her guardian has sworn to protect her, but even he can't stop the Dark Witch. Somehow, Brusenna has to succeed where every other Witch has failed. Find the traitor. Fight her. Defeat her. Because if Brusenna doesn't, there won't be anything left to save.

Brusenna thought it was finished in WITCH BORN. She defeated the Dark Witch, saving the Haven Witches from imprisonment and death. She found love and a place to belong.

    She was wrong.

Haven is not the sanctuary it appears to be. Even love is in danger of slipping away like water through cupped hands.

    Some things can't be saved.

A new threat merges with the old as the Witches’ dark history begins to catch up with them. Only Brusenna knows the extent of the danger and how to stop it, though doing so might cost her everything.

    Including her life.

Will Brusenna be required to make the ultimate sacrifice?

    Witch Song
    by Amber Argyle

    Chapter Two
    Nips

The attacker’s threat made Senna’s heart thump painfully in her chest. Who was this man? How had he known her name? She stepped closer and squinted at his face, trying to make out something besides his dark outline.

Somewhere out of sight, the plants rustled as if someone was running through them. The tenor!

Senna turned and fled, not daring to look back. Three times she fell, once so hard she feared she’d broken her wrist. She yanked on the gag, her lips cracking, before finally managing to pull it off.

Ahead, the warm lights of Haven came into view. She caught glimpses of lanterns gleaming inside the trees like distant stars. Had she really gone so far?

When she finally reached her tree house on the outskirts of the inhabited quarter, her breathing came in ragged gasps. She ran inside the tree, up the spiraling central staircase, and wrenched open her mother’s bedroom door.

Her mother sat up. “Brusenna?” Her voice was heavy with sleep.

“We’re not safe!” Senna snatched her mother’s hand and dragged her outside and deeper into Haven.

“What happened? Why are you covered in blood? What happened to your face?”

Senna ignored her. She had to warn the others. Were there more attackers? Was anyone safe? She didn’t stop until she reached the Ring of Power—a circular clearing ringed by tall, ancient trees. She darted to the center. Tipping back her head, she sang.

Wind, carry my song through all of Haven.
    An enemy with purpose craven
    Has breached our everlasting border,
    Wreaking havoc and disorder.

The wind whipped around her song, carrying its message all over the island. It reverberated off the impassable cliffs. Within moments, Witches were pouring into the Ring of Power, most wearing little more than their shifts.

Prenny, her short gray hair sticking up like the scruff of an aggravated dog, marched straight up to Senna. “What’s the meaning of this, Sprout?”

Senna held up her hand to shield her eyes from the lantern Prenny held. The older woman seized her by the wrist.

Her mother gasped and turned Senna’s palm toward the lantern light spilling through the clearing.

Exhaustion crashed down on Senna as the two studied her hand. “It’s not my blood.”

“Some of it is,” her mother said.

Her mouth forming a small “O” of surprise, Senna stared at the cuts in her palm, her blood mixing with that of her attacker to run in garish streaks down her sleeves. The glass must have sliced her when she’d stabbed the deep-voiced man. She hadn’t even felt it, but now she did. It stung, more by the moment.

Her mother lifted her skirt. “I’ll get my kit.”

Prenny clicked her tongue as she examined the wounds. “It’ll keep for now, Sacra.” The older woman smelled of herbs and dirt, but it was not unpleasant.

When her mother didn’t pause, Senna reached for her with her good hand. “No! They’re still out there!”

“Who’s out there?” Coyel, Head of Sunlight, asked as she arrived with Drenelle half a step behind.

Senna winced. “Two men attacked me.”

    “What?” her mother cried.

More Witches gathered around Senna. All of them gaped at her, fear in their eyes. Senna felt their stares like a mantle of lead and wanted to disappear.

Coyel clapped her hands. “To the middle of the Ring, all of you.”

Drenelle grabbed Senna’s arm and dragged her away from listening ears. “By the Creators, why would two men attack a sixteen-year-old girl?”

“That’s impossible,” Prenny growled. “There are no men on the island. And no one can get inside without our permission.”

Senna’s mother met the old woman’s gaze. “Like they didn’t get on the island before?”

Prenny stepped back as if she’d been slapped. “The traitor is dead. All the other Witches are accounted for.”

Senna shook her head. “I heard them. They’re part of a plan to attack Haven. And they’re working with a Witch here.”

Prenny opened her mouth, but no words came out.

Coyel held herself very still. “You’re sure?”

Senna met the woman’s blue eyes. “They were guaranteed egress from the island for themselves and a captive.”

The three Heads exchanged glances. Senna could see they didn’t want to believe her. But the blood on her hands and the bruise swelling on the back of her skull were proof.

Chavis marched toward them. The Witch was Head of Water and therefore their leader in battle. She was dressed in men’s clothes. Strapped across her chest was a crisscross harness for her pistols, with a water-emblem coin where the leather straps met. Her long gray hair hung in a braid down the center of her back. “How many? Where?”

Senna pointed a shaking finger back the way she’d come. “Two of them. On the west side of the island.”

Chavis whirled around. “Witchlings and Apprentices in the circle. Arianis is in charge.”

“But if there’s a traitor in our midst—” Drenelle started.

Chavis turned toward her. “Have you a better idea?”

    Drenelle slowly shook her head.

Chavis went on, her tone commanding, “Keepers assume battle formation—one Witch from each of the Four Disciplines, with a Water in charge. Search the island. Senna with me.”

“I’m coming with my daughter,” her mother declared.

Chavis tightened her lips but nodded. “Fine.”

Drenelle blanched. “Shouldn’t we wait till morning?”

    Chavis didn’t bother responding.

Arianis glanced at the Witchlings and Apprentices before jogging forward. “Head Coyel, I can help search the island.”

Coyel answered without looking at her. “You’re still an Apprentice.”

Arianis glowered at Senna. “So is she.”

Senna had to stop herself from rolling her eyes. This really wasn’t the time for Arianis’ petty jealousies.

Chavis shouldered past Arianis. “Yes, but she knows where she was attacked and you do not. Now move!”

Arianis clenched her jaw and started shouting for the Apprentices and Witchlings to form up. The Apprentices locked forearms and started singing.

The area around them surged with a blast of wind. Shimmering like an aurora, a cylindrical barrier rose into the night sky. Nothing and no one could cross until the Witches released each other.

As long as the circle held, the young Witches would be safe. Unless the traitor…Senna pushed the worry away.

Chavis handed a musket to Prenny and one of the pistols to Coyel. The three women loaded the gunpowder, wad, and ball before tapping the powder into the frizzen.

Senna had just stabbed a man. Watching them load the guns made her stomach hurt. “We have our songs,” she said.

“Sometimes a musket works better than Witch song,” Chavis said.

Drenelle grabbed her lantern off the ground. “This is a bad idea. We should stay where it’s safe.”

“Douse the lantern. It will only make us targets and blind us to the night.” Chavis started forward without another word.

Drenelle pursed her lips before blowing out the light, but she didn’t put the lantern down.

Senna stared at the pistol in Coyel’s hands, her whole body loath to go back into the darkness. She listened for the music again, somehow doubting she’d ever heard it in the first place. Hollow silence echoed back to her.

When Senna made no move to follow them, Chavis turned. “Senna, you may need to show us where to go.”

The memory of being shot burned through her, and her long- since-healed arm ached anew. She could taste the gunpowder on her tongue from the night her dog, Bruke, had died saving her. She couldn’t seem to move.

Gently, her mother took her arm. “Chavis won’t shoot anyone unless she has to.”

Going back into danger went against Senna’s every instinct. Fear seemed to lift her stomach into her throat. Steeling herself, she left the lantern-lit clearing behind.

Her mother pressed herself against Senna’s side, and Senna had to admit she was grateful for her presence.

Passing other groups of searching Witches, the five Keepers hustled as fast as they dared, their hands outstretched to feel their way forward, towards the only way in or out of Haven—the underwater cave. If Senna’s attackers wanted to flee, it was the only place to go.

Etched in the side of one of the cliffs was a stone archway. Briars and thistle guarded the entrance and grew thick over the cave’s name: Velveten.

“No one’s been here,” Coyel said, her voice heavy with relief.

“Unless a Witch sang them inside.” Chavis checked the powder in her pan and half cocked her gun. “Drenelle, light your lamp.”

Senna heard the scrape of a rare match. A flame burst to life, burning afterimages into her vision—the sight of Drenelle in a chemise that practically vomited lace. The air was filled with the smell of burning sulfur. Drenelle lit the wick and twisted up the lever on her small, ridiculously ornate lamp.

As light flooded the area, Senna sighed in relief. For the first time since leaving the clearing, she could make out the other Witches’ faces instead of amorphous shapes.

Coyel sang away the briars and thistle that hid the elaborate entrance. It was a place that could only be created by Witch song. The intricately engraved arch was just the beginning. Carved into the rock wall all along the island were perfect trees, mountains, curls of wind, the sun, moon, and stars, even the faces of the Creators. Every image important to the Witches was present. But the once beautiful carvings were worn by time and weather until they were mere shadows of their former majesty.
    Much like the Witches themselves.

Chavis took the lantern and eased down the steps. The light threw harsh, crawling shadows on the walls and gave the carvings the appearance of movement, as if they were writhing away from the light. At the bottom, Senna stood on the mosaic stone floor, staring at the black surface of the pool.

Coyel breathed in sharply. “One of the boats is missing.”

“They’re gone then.” Chavis cursed. “How badly was he injured?”

Senna started to clench her fists. Pain shot from her palm up her arm. She made a sound that was somewhere between a grunt and a whimper. “About a hand’s span of glass in his stomach.”

Chavis chewed her lip. “The other one either carried him out or abandoned him. Come on, back to the place they were last seen.” She grabbed the lantern out of Drenelle’s hands and shoved it at Sacra. “You stay here just in case. Make sure no one gets past you.”

Sacra shot a concerned glance at Senna before hurrying after Chavis. “I’m not leaving my daughter.”

Chavis handed her one of the pistols. “We need Brusenna to show us where she was attacked. We need four of us to control the Four Sisters. You are extraneous, therefore you stay.”

Sacra stumbled to a halt, her mouth open as if to argue. She swallowed. “You brought me here for this—to guard the door.”

“Obviously.” Chavis started moving out. “Keep your back against the wall so they can’t sneak up on you. If you see one of them, shoot. Aim for the stomach—that way they’ll live long enough to be interrogated.”

Senna paused beside her mother. She couldn’t bring herself to leave her alone. “We shouldn’t—”

Coyel gripped her arm and propelled her forward. “Your mother is a very capable Witch. She’ll be fine.”

Senna turned to watch her mother in the small orb of lantern light. Sacra cocked back the hammer of the pistol and glared into the darkness. Hoping Coyel was right, Senna hurried to catch up with Chavis.

When they moved into the uninhabited quarter of Haven, Drenelle glanced at Senna askance. “What were you doing here?”

Senna’s mouth went dry, and she had to swallow several times before the words would come. “I couldn’t sleep.”

After a few minutes of blundering around, she stepped on something hard and oddly shaped. Her veins aching with dread, she stopped to pick it up. She turned it over in her good hand a few times before she realized what it was. A slingshot. Her head seemed to throb in response. “Here.”

Chavis pulled out her pistol. “Prenny and Coyel.”

Prenny handed her musket to Drenelle, who held it away from her body like it might sully her white chemise. Then the older Witch pulled out four glass vials. “Ready?”

    Coyel crooned to the wind.

Wind, spread these Nips and blow them straight

To any who may lie in wait.

Wind gushed down on the tops of their heads, swelling away from them when it hit the ground. As Coyel continued the song, Prenny circled them and tossed the contents of each vial into the air. The wind caught the powder, billowing it outward.

Even with the currents blowing it away from their packed group, the Nips made the back of Senna’s throat itch and her eyes smart. She held her cloak over her face and squinted through watering eyes.

Coyel stopped singing and rested a hand on Senna’s shoulder. “Anyone the powder touched would erupt into a helpless fit of coughing.”

The Witches strained, listening. But there was no sound.

Chavis stared into the shadows. “We’re not going to find anything on a night like this. Best lock ourselves in and wait till morning. We can do a thorough search then.”

“Whoever it was, they’re either gone or dead,” Prenny said in obvious relief.

Coyel stared into the dark depths of the forest.

“Don’t be too relieved, Head. Someone brought them inside, which means we still have a traitor on the island.”

    ABOUT: Gina Rosati

I have a husband, an 18 year old son and a 13 year old daughter who are very patient and understanding...it’s not easy to live with a writer. I used to be a secretary. And a cake decorator. And a PTA mom. And I still volunteer at the middle school library one day a week because I love it there. On August 7, 2012, I can officially add ‘author’ to my resume...my debut YA paranormal romance, AURACLE, will debut from Roaring Brook Press/Macmillan.

I am forever grateful to my literary agent, Andrea Somberg (Harvey Klinger, Inc.) and my editor, Katherine Jacobs (Roaring Brook Press/Macmillan). AURACLE is a far better story because of their help and guidance! I’m not a fan of politics or organized religion, but I love dogs. And cats. And guinea pigs and bunnies and other fuzzy stuff. I used to drink too much sugary soda (32 oz/day.) When I gave it up, I lost 20 pounds and kept it off.

Now I drink too much diet soda. I should drink water. From a reusable container. Blue jeans, T-shirts, hoodies, fuzzy socks and sneakers...I’d rather be comfy than classy. As part of my research for AURACLE, I got a tattoo. Now I have 3 and counting...

I cannot astrally project. I tried. But I am excellent at procrastinating! I collect glassy things. And fairy things. And rocks. I believe!
