Question of the Week: Do you read more than one book at a time, and, if so, how, like a certain amount of pages per book before moving on to the next one in the queue?

I didn't always used to read more than one book at a time, because I felt like I was sort of cheating on the book that I was originally reading and also, because I felt like it would distract me from the actual current book I was reading. Now, it's not really that hard, because while I'm reading one book (usually a review eGalley that I've received from either Netgalley or Edelweiss) on my Kindle, I am almost always reading a physical book off of one of my shelves.

This usually happens, because I am such a mood reader and whatever I feel like reading at any given moment, I usually tend to switch to and then I'll go through a process of switching back and forth between the books while reading. If I'm trying to catch up with review books and eGalley's, then I'll usually try and read a couple of them at a time. I usually read about 5 to 6 chapters in one, before I'll switch over to the other and read about the same amount of chapters in the other.

Sometimes if I'm really into a book, then it'll just be that particular book that I'm reading and I won't bother to pick up another and try to read it too. Like right now, I'm in the middle of devouring the Nova series by Jessica Sorensen and I'm reading Saving Quinton, the second book in the series. I'm trying hard to power through it, because I have an upcoming book tour that I'm going to be part of regarding the newest book releasing in it. So, I really need to get through them.

So, tell me, do you read more than one book at a time and how does it work for you? Leave a comment below (with the links so I can follow you) and link up to your Feature & Follow Friday post!

Question of the Week: Hard print (real thing) or Kindle/Nook, which is your favorite?

First of all, this is a great question and second, I've been giving this some thought for quite a while now and I feel like I really enjoy both hard print and Kindle books equally for different reasons.

Obviously, I love collecting hard print/paperback books and seeing them all lined up and looking pretty on my shelves, but trying to find the space to house all of them doesn't necessarily work out the way I'd always like it too. I keep having to arrange and re-arrange my shelves in order to make room for new books in a series/trilogy/duology, etc. so that they'll all fit and be pretty, but also stay in order too. This definitely requires me to become a little creative in making this happen, lol. And right now, I just don't have the money or the room to get a new bookshelf.

This is where I really start to love my Kindle just a little bit more, because not only does it save on space for me with most of my stand alone books, but it's also a lot easier to carry around when I have to visit the doctor's office, run errands, or possibly go on a trip. I like the ease of knowing that I can pick up my Kindle and have over 500+ books at my fingertips and I can read practically anything that I want or that I'm feeling like reading at any given moment, without having to pack around 5 to 10 books with me or having to go through the hassle of trying to cover all the basis from choosing at least one book from every genre I might be feeling like reading at the moment. Obviously, you can see how that could become a pain in the arse. lol.

I didn't always feel this way about eBooks though, a few years ago it used to be nothing but physical copies and physical copies only. Boy, I feel like I've grown up into my reading and my habits have definitely changed for the better. I do have a great love for my physical copies though and I will continue to buy them, but I also see the wonderful potential in having the ease of an eReader and a wonderful collection of eBooks at the ready too.

Question of the Week: Do you post your reviews anywhere besides your blog? Where else do you post reviews?
*Suggested by: Jessica @ A Great Read

I definitely like to make sure that I'm posting my book reviews in other places, besides my blog because it helps to cross-promote the book that I've just read or reviewed and it also helps to draw new followers and readers into my blog as well. Generally I start with always making sure that I post my reviews for any of the eGalley's that I receive via the publisher through Edelweiss or Netgalley there, and then from that I branch out to Amazon, Barnes&Noble onto Goodreads, Booklikes, and I also like to link them to a board of books that I've read and reviewed for that specific year on Pinterest as well.

There have been a couple of occasion's where I've guest reviewed a book and have been able to post my review for it on the blog where I'm guesting for that day. I also try and make sure that I am using my Twitter, Facebook, and Tsu social media accounts to get my reviews out there for other bloggers and readers to see, as well as using it in a way to keep in contact with various author's and publisher's too. It's just an important part of the process and even though I may not always be the world's best at keeping up with it on a daily basis, I do try and go through once every month and a half and update things here and there as the year goes on.

Feature + Follow Friday: Do You Own Any Doubles?!

Question of the Week: Do you own any doubles of your books? What led you to getting that second...or third or forth...copy?
Not counting the books on my Kindle, I do have a few doubles of books that I ended up with through various reasons. A few of them are ARC's that I received for review and then I ended up buying a finished copy of the book or was gifted a copy. Like, I won an ARC of Daughter of Smoke and Bone, but then for Christmas a couple of years ago I was gifted a beautiful finished copy. I'll be sending my ARC to another friend, who has been wanting to get into this trilogy. I have two hardback copies of Delirium by Lauren Oliver, because of the cover change and I'm the type of person who likes for her covers to match. I'm keeping both of them, because I thought the original cover was interesting and pretty.

I've also got two hardback copies of Stork by Wendy Delsol, one that was sent for review from the publisher and a copy that I bought myself because I don't even know why. I even have two copies of The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen, because I forgot that I had already bought a copy when BooksAMillion was having a sale and I picked the other up at a thrift store and I'll pretty much be passing that one along to my sister for a good summer read. And, finally, I have two copies of Carrier of the Mark by Leigh Fallon, one of them is an ARC (one of the first few ARC's that I received for review) and the other is a signed finished copy that I won in a giveaway that she was hosting during a YA Scavenger Hunt.

I think that might possibly be all that I have, but I'm not even sure and so I'm not going to give you my word for sure. lol.

Question of the Week: Do you have any fun collections (other than books)?
I actually collect anything Doctor Who related, Paris France themed, or owls. I am absolutely nutty about these three things and I totally have to have them in my life, in some form. Like with my Doctor Who collection I have the comics (both Classic and New Who), some of the books (featuring the 9th and 10th Doctors), socks, a tumbler, and a little lego Amy Pond. I have a ton of different things that have owls on them and even a couple of stuffed owls. And it's sort of the same with the Paris France themed things, like recently I bought a wall calendar for the new year that is Paris themed and I also have this really pretty vintage Paris themed looking trunk that I use for storage which I got from the Meamu of Awesome last Christmas.

I am also nuts about fingernail polish, to the point where I probably have enough to open up my own salon, but hey I'm totally good with it. I am always having to do a yearly culling of that stuff because you know it can tend to go bad after a while. lol. I have all different kinds of colors and all different brands, but my favorites are OPI, China Glaze, and Orly.

This week's two feature blogs are...

Katie @ Worn Down Glories is one of my favorite people that I've gotten to know. She's just really all kinds of awesome and she's also a co-blogger pal of mine at Growing Beyond YA. You guys should check out her blog and get to know her better, chat her up on Twitter, and Facebook her. She's got a lot of new things to offer coming up on her blog this year and I think it's going to be pretty amazing, even if I am a little bias because she's got such FANTASTIC tasted in books and we have a lot in common. I met her through another blogging bestie of mine and they are an ADORABLE couple whom I love and support tons!

Question of the Week: Who is your blogger BFF? Tell us a little bit about him or her? If not tell us why you need or don’t need a blogger BFF.

I would definitely have to say that Molli @ Books & Whimsy, Katie @ Worn Down Glories, Angie @ Disquietus Reads, and Marie @ Ramblings of a Daydreamer are definitely my blogging besties. I love these girls so much and it's been a ton of fun blogging with them and getting to know them, because they don't just challenge me when it comes to books, but they also challenge and inspire me personally. I've known Molli the longest out of all of them, which means we're probably the closest in a lot of different ways, but I also adore the friendships that I've created with the other's. Marie makes me want to write, she's so super talented and I'm really enjoying reading her book Waiting for the Storm, in fact I'm hoping to finish it before this weekend is over. Angie's tweets always crack me up and I love the way that she encourages me to read a little bit out of my comfort zone, she loves to dish about our story General Hospital, and she's just incredibly feisty. Katie's more laid back and quiet, but she's pretty damn awesome too. I know I can always count on her if I really need someone to talk to and that means a lot. I've learned a lot about life and blogging about books through my friendships with these awesome gals. I wouldn't trade ANY of it for the world.
