The gorgeous cover for this book was revealed yesterday onMundie Moms, who happen to be hosting a wonderful giveaway of some fanstastic swag here. You should definitely enter for a chance to win, you never know you might be one of the lucky ones.

It was said that Will was the special guest who revealed the cover at BEA, yesterday. Lucky devils, to anyone who was there and got to see the reveal in person. I'm sure that it was just as spectacular as the book is going to be. I, for one, am extremely excited about this and am ready to gobble up the next part of the story. I think Jem looks amazingly gorgeous in his period piece suit and I cannot wait to see the feelings between Tess and Jem flourish a bit and to see what will have Will angsting or railing next. I've always loved the world in, which Cassandra has created and set her character's in. It's always been so fascinating, such a thriving realm of darkness tempered with light and then flickering emotiosn and strange dwellings filled with people and faces and things that you will never forget.

And the scenery, that imagery brought to life in only the way that she can. Well, yes...dare I say that she is a genius indeed. Hey, anyone who gives me Magnus, is a damn genius in my book.

If you could visit any fictional setting in a story, where would you go?

I would absolutely love to visit the downworld that Cassandra Clare has created in her Mortal Instruments series. Idris is defintely at the top of my list, because I think it would be a wonderfully beautiful and magical place to visit. The lush green of the rolling hills, the beautiful allure of the center of town itself, the different types of people that you would meet on your journey, and the culture and architecture that they have built.

Another amazing place to be transported to, would be Alyson Noel's Summerland, showcased in The Immortal series. Just the name of it makes it seem like it would be a bright, shiny fun place to visit. I love the idea of being able to conjure anything that you could possibly want to manifest with your mind and have it be right there in front of you when you opened your eyes. Plus, the way that it's described in the books, makes it seem amazingly beautiful and so filled with wonder and many things to be discovered, new journey's to be embarked on.

• I love the smell of old books, but I'll admit that I sniff new books too.

I would probably want to live inside Cassandra Clare's The Mortal Instruments series, where I could sort of keep Magnus as my own personal pet and like hang shiny things on him. lol. Plus Clary is kickass and super fierce and it would be fun to shop with Isabelle. Not to mention the world seems really awesome. Really, if you haven't read this series then HURRY UP, what are you waiting for?

#001: Waiting On Wednesday: City of Fallen Angels

"Waiting On" Wednesday (or ya know WoW!) is a nifty little weekly event, hosted by the ever so lovely Jill at Breaking The Spine that totes puts the spotlight on various new and upcoming book releases that are totally "ohmigod! i gotta have this or i'll just die," eagerly anticipated.

This week's "totally can't wait, gotta have it now" novel for me is the next book in Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instrument's series, City of Fallen Angels. Two things before I go any further.

• I've only been like totally DYING for this book to come out FOREVER!
  
• And I want this book so hard, that I've already pre-ordered my special eidition copy with the letter from Jace to Clary included. (Can only get this particular copy from Barnes & Noble.)

I think I'm way more excited for this book release, than I probably should be. But, this is a series that easily falls into my top five favorite book series of all time. What's your's?
